Camping delle Piscine - Tuscany

Parco delle Piscine is a lovely Italian camping site set on the edge of the typical small Tuscan town of Sarteano which has a medieaval hilltop castle. The site is nestled among the undulating, ancient green hills of Tuscany and is in a good position for touring the Tuscan countryside.

The campsite has a lovely pool area with three pools including a children's pool.

One of the pools is open in High Season and is exclusive to campsite residents. Interestingly, the pools are fed by mineral rich waters from a thermal spring at 24 degrees centigrade. There is a pool bar and also a restaurant and a takeaway.

The campsite provides entertainment and activities for adults and children during the High Season. Sporting facilities include tenniplaygrounds courts, table tennis, football, basketball and volleyball as well as a playground.

There is also a newsagent and gift shop and the site is also convenient for the numerous shops and restaurants in Sarteano.

Internet and WiFi (6Euros) are available.

Disclaimer: The reviews published on the site are intended solely for the purpose of providing general information and comment and are purely our opinions. We cannot guarantee that descriptions on this site are accurate, up to date or free from error. We have found that the campsites described are very good and are some of the top campsites in France but we find that it is difficult to find a campsite which has 100% of what you are looking for.  Also one person may love a busy campsite with lots of activities while someone else may love a quiet campsite with a small swimming pool. Actually we tend to be the latter ! So what we have done is highlight the good points of the sites and maybe point out a few of what we have found as slightly negative points. However we strongly recommend that you make full use of as many internet sources as possible before deciding about your holiday, including such things as Google maps.
